Roger has a B.A. degree in theology from St. Olaf College, a B.A. degree in English from University of Minnesota, a M.A. degree in teaching/education from the University of St. Thomas, and a J.D. law degree from the University of Minnesota.

Executive Vice President
Over 28 years of experience in the medical/dental industry as past President of Odin Visionary Technologies, Director of Sales at Surgitel, and Sales Manager at Orascoptic. Scott has a BS in Business Administration and Management from Graceland University.
David Aberle
CFO/VP of Finance
Over 30 years of both private and public finance experience to Enova – with over 15 years of medical device experience. David is a CPA and has an MBA from St. Thomas. He was a leader within the financial team at AGA Medical and CFO/VP of Finance for Recombinetics, Inc.

Vice President of Operations
Over 25 years of experience in the medical/dental industry as an ISO auditor for BSI and Manager of Operations at Surgitel. Jeremy has a BS in Business Administration and Management from Eastern Michigan University.

Director of Sales Operations
Over 7 years of experience in the medical/dental industry as a sales manager, R&D and Business Development Manager with Enova Illumination. Jordyn has a BA in Exercise Science and a minor in Business Administration from Augsburg College

Board of Directors
R. Don Keysser –
R. Don Keysser DBA, CM&AA, Chief Investment Officer, Board Director, has over 38 years of experience as an investment banker and business finance consultant. He was a Managing Director at Dain Rauscher, a Senior Vice President and Principal at Miller & Schroeder Financial and is currently the Managing Principal of Hannover Consulting.
He is a Professor of Finance at Saint Mary’s University, teaching MBA courses in Corporate Finance, Financial Institutions, Government Finance and International Finance. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. Don has a MAPA and an MBA, both from the University of Minnesota, and a Doctorate in International Business.
Currently, he serves on the Boards of Enova Illumination, the German-American Chamber of Commerce and of Moto-I. He is on the Board of Advisors of the Isthmus Foundation, a non-profit engaged in stem cell research.
Merrill Ayers –
Merrill Ayers began his career with Bankers Trust Company, New York, with assignments in New York and Brussels, Belgium, rising to Vice President and Controller-Europe. Following Chief Financial Officer positions with a major asset-based lending company and a leading venture capital firm, he relocated to Minneapolis in 1992 as Senior Vice President – Acquisitions for ITT Consumer Finance.
Following that position he served as Chief Financial Officer of Sparta Foods (NASDAQ SmallCap), K-tel (NASDAQ), privately held food manufacturers M.A. Gedney and Lettieri’s, Inc., and an early-stage employee benefits company, Genesis Employee Benefits.
Serving on several corporate and non-profit boards, in addition to Enova, he currently serves on the board of an early-stage manufacturing technology company. Merrill received a B.A. degree in Government from Pomona College, Claremont, California and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance in Philadelphia.
Nathan Harris –
Nathan Harris has over 31 years of marketing, sales, and executive management experience in the medical device industry. In 2018, Nathan retired as the Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing at ZOLL Medical. Before ZOLL, Nathan served as Senior VP of World-Wide sales and marketing for Advanced Circulatory Systems, Inc. (ACSI)- sold to ZOLL Medical in 2015.
Before ACIS and ZOLL, Nathan held multiple VP of Sales and Marketing positions with various medical device companies, including LightLab Imaging, a subsidiary of St. Jude Medical, with CAS Medical, and Salient Surgical, Inc. In his “youth,” he worked up the ranks with Honeywell Avionics as a quality engineer, production engineer, and production supervisor. Nathan moved to the medical industry with Cardiac Pacemaker as a Quality Control Supervisor. He started with Medtronic, Inc, as a Pacing sales representative, transitioning into Upstream Marketing.
Returning to leadership as a District Sales Manager, Nathan then left the states for Switzerland to become the European Marketing Business Director. He returned to the states as the National Sales Director for EP Systems before leaving Medtronic for his first VP of sales position. Nathan has a BA of Science from the College of New Jersey, Ewing, NJ, and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. He has served on multiple boards, including ACSI, and was instrumental in the sales of ACSI to ZOLL and LightLab to St. Jude.
Eric G. Heegaard, MD, –
Eric G. Heegaard, MD, is a board-certified OB-GYN and practices at Hennepin County Medical Center (HCMC) with a specialty in robotic surgery. Prior to HCMC, Eric was a partner at OB-GYN West P.A. located in Minnetonka, Eden Prairie and Chaska, Minnesota. Dr. Heegaard’s clinical practice and clinical interest focus on minimally invasive and robotic surgery for benign gynecologic conditions.
Graduating with a BA in Economics from Colorado College, Eric received his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and afterward completed his residency at the University of Minnesota Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Heegaard is one of the original founders of MedTreo LLC and he has been on the board of directors of Terras Irradient and Enova Illumination since their inception. In addition to his clinical practice, he is the creator and co-host of “the Gyno Show” on MyTalk 107.1 FM, a radio show focusing on Women’s Health in the Twin Cities.
William G. Heegaard, MD –
William G. Heegaard, MD is a board-certified emergency physician who serves as President of Essentia West in Fargo, ND (2019 – present). He has served as Chief Medical Officer at Hennepin County Medical Center and Chief Clinical Officer of Hennepin Health System (2017 – 2019) and practiced at the Hennepin County Medical Center ( HCMC), a level one-trauma center located in Minneapolis, MN from 1991 – 2019.
As a Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at the University of Minnesota Medical School, he served on the Board and as Co- Medical Director of LifeLink III, a nonprofit transport corporation owned by Allina Health systems, Fairview Health Systems, Regions Hospital in St. Paul. MN, St Cloud Hospital, Children’s Hospital and HCMC. Bill has been active in emergency medicine research from 1994-2016 and was elected President of Minnesota American College of Emergency Medicine in 2012.
Areas of interest include helicopter emergency services, head injury and ultrasound, and is the principal author of the head trauma chapter in Rosen’s Emergency Medicine textbook. Additionally, since 2001 he has been an examiner for the American Board of Emergency Medicine. In 1991 Bill graduated from the University of Minnesota Medical School then soon received his Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health later in 1991 as well. In 2017, Bill received his MBA from Kellogg School of Business, Northwestern University. Dr. Heegaard is one of the original founders of MedTreo LLC and he has been on the board of directors of Terras Irradient and Enova Illumination since their inception.
Jeff Tuttle –
Jeff Tuttle has over 30 years of marketing and executive management experience in the consumer products industry in Fortune 100 and smaller companies alike. Currently, Jeff serves as Chief Customer and Business Development Officer at Bellisio Foods. Prior to Bellisio, Jeff was President & CEO at M.A. Gedney Company, and held various brand management positions at Miller Brewing Company. Holding a BA and MBA degrees from The Colorado College and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor respectively he has been variously involved in several charitable works over the years afterwards, including The Children’s Theatre, SIFE and United Way.
