Job Summary:
We are expanding our product line to include clinical magnification, and we are looking for a committed and experienced production technician to help us build, assemble and support the sale of our clinical magnification products and LED surgical lights.
On-the-job training of all aspects of this position will be provided in full.
This is an ideal position for someone who wants to be a part of an exciting team – someone who wants to learn, support, and contribute to all aspects of a rapidly growing small business. This role will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and includes the following responsibilities and skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Product assembly, production and light manufacturing of clinical magnification (loupes) and LED surgical headlights
- Inspection and testing of products to meet Quality standards.
- Supports Sales and Customer Service Team in addressing customer questions related to product features, pricing, warranty, and trouble shooting.
- Performs other duties as necessary
Required Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience:
Position Requirements
- 1+ years of production experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to learn the details of a technical product line
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and to make decisions autonomously based on unique customer needs
- Able to effectively manage time sensitive requests
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and to perform light manual tasks
Education:
- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- Production: 1 year (Preferred)
