Production Technician for Medical Device Assembly

Job Summary:
We are expanding our product line to include clinical magnification, and we are looking for a committed and experienced production technician to help us build, assemble and support the sale of our clinical magnification products and LED surgical lights. The role to be filled is as a Production Technician who can also help in the warehouse with shipping and receiving.
On-the-job training of all aspects of this position will be provided in full.
This is an ideal position for someone who wants to be a part of an exciting team – someone who wants to learn, support, and contribute to all aspects of a rapidly growing small business. This role will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager and includes the following responsibilities and skills.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
•Product assembly, production and light manufacturing of clinical magnification (loupes) and LED surgical headlights
•Inspection and testing of products to meet Quality standards.
•Supports Sales and Customer Service Team in addressing customer questions related to product features, pricing, warranty, and trouble shooting.
•Performs other duties as necessary
Required Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience
Position Requirements
•1+ years of production experience preferred, but not required
•Ability to learn the details of a technical product line
•Excellent organizational skills
•Excellent verbal and written communication
•Ability to work with minimal supervision, and to make decisions autonomously based on unique customer needs
•Able to effectively manage time sensitive requests
•Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and to perform light manual tasks
Education:
•High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
•Production: 1 year (Preferred)
